Luther Gibson

Luther GibsonLuther retired from Consolidated Nuclear Security Y-12 in 2017 after a 40-year career with Department of Energy Oak Ridge prime contractors at Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant, K-25, and Y-12. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. He worked in the areas of environmental technology development, operations research, environmental compliance, nuclear facility safety, and emergency management technical basis.

Luther is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Air & Waste Management Association and has served on advisory boards to the U.S. Department of Energy.

Luther is a Vice-President of CORRE. He is Chair of the Planning Committee and the Pension Fund Analysis Committee. He is also a member of the Legislative Liaison Committee
