Shirley O. Cox
Ms. Cox has more than 45 years of experience in all aspects of nuclear materials management and nuclear weapons missions, including positions as a front-line supervisor, departmental superintendent, and senior program manager in the weapons production areas.

While employed with the Y-12 National Security Complex M&O contractor, Ms. Cox served as a senior DOE/NNSA contractor representative for multiple National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and Department of Energy (DOE) Complex-wide initiatives, including representation on international committees and ventures.

Ms. Cox served as the first Chair of the Facility Operations Technical Division of the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM), an international organization focused on safe, secure management of nuclear materials. The INMM honored Ms. Cox with Fellow status, the highest status within the INMM, and multiple other awards for her contributions and dedication to the INMM and nuclear materials management achievements throughout her career.

Ms. Cox joined Tetra Tech in March 2004 and was appointed to the position of Director for Nuclear Security Programs in May 2006. With Tetra Tech, Ms. Cox has continued to provide technical and management safeguards and security expertise to DOE/NNSA contractors for domestic and international projects.

Ms. Cox also currently represents her company on the East Tennessee Economic Council (ETEC) where she served on the ETEC Board of Directors and has a B.S. in Organizational Management from Tusculum College.
