Teresa Riggs
Teresa has been a member of CORRE since 2008 and founding member and co-chair of the Alliance for Grandfathered Retirees and Employees (AGRE).

She began her career with Union Carbide in 1980, transitioning through DOE contractors Martin Marietta/Lockheed Martin serving as Human Resources Benefits Administrator, Information and Word Processing/Records, Training and Development and Generalist positions. She transitioned to Bechtel Jacobs Company LLC (BJC) as Benefit Plans Administrator in 1998-2004, where she established and directed BJC Call Center, single-, multiple-, and multi-employer defined benefits, contribution plans, health and welfare Trusts, retiree medical and life insurance plans and served as Secretary of the BJC Benefits and Investments Committee.

She worked to establish comparable benefits on the Bechtel-led transition team for the Bechtel Bettis Laborartory in 2003, the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) contract with the University of California in 2006, with the Lawerence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) in 2007, and with the Bechtel/Lockheed Martin led transition team for the Consolidated Nuclear Security (CNS) contract in 2004. She continued to work as Benefits Advisor with the Oak Ridge and Pantex sites until May 2016, establishing and serving as secretary of the Benefits and Investment Committee at these locations.

Teresa holds a M.S. in Technological and Adult Education from the University of Tennessee, B.S. in Business Administration, Tusculum College, and A.S. in Office Administration.

She enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, lake life, Big Orange and Vols activities, traveling and hiking. She is an active member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association-Amateur Division, having held several Board positions, and a Travel League member.
