• March Minutes – Approved.

• March Treasurer’s Report – Approved.
• CD expires end of March; will auto-renew.
• Peterson – Renew for shorter period.
• McRae – Check K-25 FCU.
• Whitehead – Authorize Luther to check.
• Peterson – Motion: Let Luther evaluate; passed.

• UT-Battelle – Hightower
• Will be getting with Scott McIntyre next month.

• CNS – Whitley
• Cannot go to Benefit Plans at Y-12.
• Retirees need contact.
• New NPO manager is Theresa Robbins.

• Golden Services – Rogers
• Karen Hamilton will not return calls.

• UCOR – Peterson
• Contract expires on July 31.
• Amentum-Jacobs bidders finished orals
• Probably 6 month extension.
• Pension fund 82.4% funded.
• Will add extra $10M/yr for 4 years to get to 100%.
• Bids in early June.
• Meeting last 2 weeks of June.
• Asked for suggested items for meeting.

• Reviewed CORRE Mission/Vision Statements
• Suggested revisions including description of who constitutes all eligible members, references to health benefits and maintenance, as well as improvement of benefits.
• Conducted Situation Analysis
• Examined stakeholder motivation to address retiree benefits.
• Reviewed factors affecting pensions and pension funding.
• Discussed the likelihood of continued increase in health care costs and how to address in retiree benefit packages.
• Discussed general trends for retiree defined benefit programs.
• Discussed the potential impact of the increasing federal budget deficit on federally funded pension programs.
• Discussed potential transition of ETTP to a closure site and DOE Office of Legacy Management.
• Examined the potential impact of changes to prime contractors to retiree benefit packages.
• Discussed how to expand communication with CORRE membership.
• Discussed key CORRE objectives and issues.
