Nominating Committee Report – Paul Wasilko, Chairman; 2025 CORRE Board nominees were introduced by view on the large screen per each nominated member’s names and photos; The entire slate of CORRE Board members (22 individuals) were approved and accepted by acclamation. The proposed and accepted CORRE Board Executive Committee members for 2025 are:

Annual Treasurer Report submitted by Petrie (for information)

Report to CORRE Membership – President Dave Whitehead; a review of several activities was presented:

Meetings with the Oak Ridge Contractors were reviewed as well as reviews of Performance Plans, Fund Notices, Monitoring of DOE Solicitations Contract Awards for retiree benefit content.

Updated Presentation Packages of the Current Status of Retirees Issues and Concerns were sent to Tennessee U. S. Representatives and U. S. Senators each time inflation changed (essentially monthly for the last two years since inflation has increased rapidly).

Several slides were shown and explained regarding the requests CORRE seeks for consideration from the Contractors and the DOE.

Conclusion – CORRE needs advocates for retiree benefits by all retirees contacting Representatives and Senators; please go to mycorre.org website to see draft letters that you may use as a template to prepare your own personal letter.

Questions/Comments - Several questions from the audience were voiced and answers were given. Several of the members of the audience are interested in writing letters to legislators; future meetings will be scheduled to develop support information, and articles will be forthcoming in local news outlets; CORRE Board members will follow up with all suggestions.
