• Minutes – Approved with Paul’s change [Paul, I misplaced your change.] for the word “shooting.”

• Treasurer’s Report – Approved.

• CNS – Gibson
• Contract extension – Maybe up to a year, maybe to 03/31/2023.
• Wasilko – There are irregularities in awarding contract.
• Whitehead – We will likely have same contacts for a year.
• Wasilko – There is a gag order for Y-12 people.
• Gibson – Our Issues are the same.
• Whitehead – Sent out what we know about contracts.
• Gibson – Protest dismissed for corrective action.
• Wasilko – Current plan is for a March turnover.
• Whitehead – E-version of our brochure to all contractors.

• Golden Services – Rogers
• Talked to Brad Odum 2 weeks ago.
• Suggested June/July meeting.
• Rogers will put forth a couple of dates in June.

• UCOR – Manrod
• Notice to proceed issued last week, transition to begin Feb. 28.
• Expect no change in the next year in the people we work with.

• UT-Battelle – Hightower
• No new report.

• Planning – Gibson
• Virtual retreat was held last week.
• Pension and health care are primary issues.
• Whitehead to send out recording of meeting.

• Nominations – Rogers
• No new report.
• By April 1, start process for next year.
• Start thinking about new candidates.

• Communications – Kibbe
• For increased publicity, consider newspaper ads and community organizations.
• Sent mailings to contributing members where we do not have emails.
• Hard to find out who congressional staffers are.
• Hightower has mailing addresses for staffers.
• Some small local papers are looking for articles.
• Plants have electronic versions of our brochures.
• Whitehead – try Facebook
• Standifer to pursue, get info to Judy.
• Whitehead has Burchett’s staffer’s name.
• Need complete staffers list.
• Shelton – Do we have contact with Kent Calfee?
• Whitley – Will try to set up meeting with Fleischman’s government affairs person.

• Website – Hubbard
• Getting up to speed with new assignment.

• Other sites – Stocks
• Spreadsheet put together of DOE/NNSA sites.
• Trying to ID contact people, retiree organization people.
• Malcolm shared his screen with 10 columns per site.
• Gibson – Focus on defined pension sites.
• SR postponed their annual meeting.
• 1099Rs are running late.
• Several sites have newsletters.

• Governmental Relations – Whitley
• No new report.

• Annual meeting -- McRae
• No new report.

• Pension Fund Analysis – Gibson
• FY23 Federal Budget not out yet, including DOE regarding pensions and site allocations.
• Focus is on sites with defined pensions.

• By-laws – Swift
• Nothing new that needs to be reviewed yet.
• Will report back next month.

• Executive Committee – Whitehead
• Working on action plan for pension increase initiative.
• 17 info packages.
• Virtual meeting next week.
• To make assignments.
• Action plan to follow.
• Address plan inequities also.

• Other Business – Whitehead
• Annual work plan overview for Jan. to Mar. presented.
• Planning committee session to discuss key issues.
• Auditor appointed – Ken Moore to complete 2019-2020 audit; 2021 to follow.
• Planning committee Strategic Plan update – carryover from last year.
• Committee appointments, contractor contacts, email list updates, pension fund analysis all discussed.

• Whitley – “Been verified” will give contact information.
• Discussion followed.
• Can we just get names of retirees?
• Contractor contact team chairs to ask for names only of retirees.
