• Presentation to CNS tomorrow.
• Golden Services
• Meeting was held with Burchett on benefits.
• UCOR – Morrow
• 52 at AGRE meeting; 5 from UCOR
• Benefits/insurance discussion.
• Whitehead made Annual Meeting presentation.
• Stipend increase for third year in a row.
• Started at $200/mo; will be $212/mo.
• 2%-3% escalation in contract with DOE.
• DOE has not been willing to listen to other sites.
• We get a lot of good info from K-25.
• Ted Myers is pro-retiree.
• HR staff understands.
• Draft RFP remains under review at DOE-HQ.
• We want pension plan managed in Oak Ridge.
• CNS – Meeting with CEO and HR Director tomorrow
• Debbie Randolph presented what will be shown.
• Retirees largely do not know about catastrophic coverage.
• Appreciation to Randolph/ Williamson for work in developing presentation.

• For active employees – high deductible plan for medical.
• $1500 deductible for individual; $3000 deductible for family.
• HAS $3000=> $1000=> 0.
• Defined pension plan: Has not been close to recent and new hires; 1.2 multiplier.

• Unexpected vacancy to fill; Lance Mezga passed.
• Would appreciate input for potential replacement member (prefer ORNL).

• Cold War Patriots seeking nominations for “every day patriots.”
• 14 from across the country.
• We will have nomination forms and will send out.

• SR – Reviewed ongoing current activities associated with SR retirees.
• Legislative – Whitehead
• Report on meeting with Burchett.
• Presentation was sent out.
• We ask for help for Golden Services retiree spouses.
• We asked for help for spouse option issue.
• He committed to write a letter to Tarcza.
• We have not seen the letter yet.
• His district manager was in the meeting.
• Hightower – This was a very positive response.
• Pension Fund Analysis – Gibson
• Question regarding actuarial analysis.
• Will look at other organizations’ websites.

• Ken Moore regarding annual audit report.
• Report handed out and approved.
• Sick Worker Program – Whitley
• $17.1B paid out nationally; about 1/3 in Oak Ridge.
• $11.7B for compensatory; $5.3B for medical.
• 628 claims last month; >600 new claims/mo.
• 18 month qualification process.
• Discussion regarding shingles shot/ flu shot.
• Appreciation to Oak Ridge Retirees Benefits Information Center
• Debbie Randolph and Pam Richardson saved the Angelelli family ~50% in Supplement Plan F/ Drug Insurance premiums for 2020.
• CWP trying to get DOE workers covered under VA.
