Approved with revision.

August Treasurer’s Report – Petrie
Approved.

Reimbursement Requests
None made.

Nominations – Franco
Jerry Cunningham was approved by Board email vote.
Cunningham request was made on 08/25 to replace Jama Hill.
Cunningham was approved on 08/26.
2027 Board Revised Slate was also approved on 08/26 to include Jerry.

CNS – Wasilko not available
There is consideration of a class action suit with CNS regarding retiree pensions.
We will request a follow-up with Sievers.

Simmons -Golden – Burton
The transfer from Office of Science to EM is complete.
Meeting with Eric Olds is TBD.
Steve Crowe was named manager of Pro Force.

UCOR – Shelton
Contractor meeting is planned for 09/24.
Reunion Committee meets on 09/17 (Gibson).

UT-Battelle – Hightower
No new report.

Planning – Gibson
Question: How would you do a K/X/Y Reunion?

Communications – Thornton
1650 emails were sent out to our retirees.
250 were bad addresses.
1400 emails were sent out on 09/04 regarding the Annual Meeting.
Another Annual Meeting reminder will be sent out on 10/04.
Notice will be sent out to local newspapers.
A newsletter is planned for the first of the year.
We are thinking about pens to be given out at the Annual Meeting – about 250 pens.
A motion was made to authorize ~$350 + tax for the pens.
Motion was approved/Thornton to handle.
Bob Hightower has our tax exempt forms.

Website – Livengood not available.
No new report.

Governmental Relations – Harding
We are still waiting for a response from Fleischmann’s staff.
Dave Whitehead wrote a letter (8/20/2026) to Fleischmann’s staff to thank them and ask them for their continued support.

Other Sites – Jessen
No new report.
We will talk with Savannah River.

Annual Meeting – McRae
We are ready to send out invitation letters to vendors by 10/06.
Hightower question regarding Webex. Whitehead will obtain Webex link from CNS and send it to Bob.

Pension Fund Analysis – Gibson
COL slides will be updated for Annual Meeting.

Bylaws – Shelton
No new report.

Annual Work Plan – Whitehead
UCOR meeting is scheduled for 09/24/26.
DRAFT Annual Meeting slides will be presented at October Board meeting for review/comment.
We have had a notification from the Tennessee Secretary of State regarding a potential scam that is circulating to non-profit organizations.
